Keith Urban Albums

Keith Urban’s incredible body of work currently comprises 11 studio albums, four compilation albums, and 54 singles. His career began in 1991 with the release of a self-titled debut album that was released in Australia first. He then released an album in the US in 1997 as a member of The Ranch, before embarking fully on a solo career  shortly after. Currently his highest-certfied album in the US is 2004’s Be Here, which was certified as a quadruple-platinum album.

Studio Albums

Urban’s first self-titled album was initially released only in Australia in 1991. It wasn’t released worldwide until 2005 by EMI. The album found some fame in Australia charting at #96.

His second album, known as Keith Urban II, was released on October 19, 1999. It was nominated at the 2000 ARIA Music Awards for Best Country Album, but narrowly lost to Troy Cassar-Daley’s Big River. What made this album stand out was that it produced four singles that landed on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Arguably, his biggest success came in 2004’s Be Here, which was released on September 21, 2004. The album sold 4 million copies, making it his best-selling album and the best-selling album in America by an Australian artist. The album was also certified as a quadruple-platinum album, and produced three singles that peaked at #1 of the Hot Country Songs chart.

His latest album, The Speed of Now Part 1, is his 11th studio album. And it was released on September 18, 2020. The album won a HIghest Selling Album award at the 2021 Queensland Music Awards.
